Heaven is closed to us, locked away by the Celestial Emperor in the wake of the Shattering. Our once godly knowledge is lost, scattered amongst the chaff of superstition and ignorance. The thousand levels are ruled by mad gods and demon kings.

In the lowest level, hanging precariously above the sea of annihilation, a fallen hero of millenia past meets a new soul, and hope blossoms. But they face a thousand worlds of forces hell-bent on stamping it out.
